Who We AreThe La Vista Community Foundation was founded in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to serve the community of La Vista by promoting and facilitating philanthropy through networking and the giving of grants. For nearly 15 years, we have been leaders of funding for the purpose of community betterment as we fulfill our mission, which is to improve the quality of life where people live, work and play in La Vista.
The La Vista Community Foundation is dedicated to strengthening relationships between non-profit organizations, donors and concerned citizens who want to invest in our community's future. What We DoThe La Vista Community Foundation has awarded Grants for more than fifteen years to area non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organizations to improve the quality of life in our city. Since 1999, we’ve awarded more than $450,000 in grants to causes ranging from public safety to the arts for students and care for the elderly.

Over the years, the LVCF has given over $450,000 in Community Impact Grants to local non-profit organizations that provide efficient programming in the community and carry out the charitable purposes of the Foundation. The LVCF supports, our Veterans, the Arts, Culture, Health and Fitness, Education, Elder Care, Public Safety and other philanthropic works.
The LVCF accomplishes this goal by providing a vehicle to facilitate the charitable intents of donors. We assist donors with information on community needs along with information concerning the tax benefits of generously contributing to meet the needs. |
